Motion Detector Lab
Today we did a lab using motion detectors to log our velocity, distance, and acceleration while walking. It was really fun, but it was very hard to maintain the exact same speed the whole time. We had to try and match a line that was already on the graph, by moving forward or backward at the same speed that the graph showed. We found out that you could have positive velocity and no acceleration by moving away from the detector at the exact same speed the whole time. It was a really cool activity, but when you didn't move smoothly enough the graph was all wiggly.

Important observation about positive velocity and null acceleration. Well done.
